What is...? A measured tree survey involves the systematic measurement and recording of the size, shape, and location of individual trees and groups of trees within a given area. This type of survey is often used in urban planning, forestry, and other fields that require detailed information about the trees in a specific area. The data collected can be used to create detailed maps and inventories of tree populations, as well as to make decisions about land use, management and conservation.
How we work? We use Trimble S-Series Robotic Total Stations for high accuracy combined with drone photogrammetry to assist with the canopy and height measurement. We collaborate with Arboricultural/Tree consultants on certain projects and possess a thorough comprehension of the information they require for conducting BS5837 Tree Surveys.
